Delete the existing copy of ComboFix.exe and download a fresh copy from here to your desktop, and click the downloaded file to run the repair. it worked like a charm. Of course, I lost some data/files, but I was able to burn most to CD before the restore. Those two files you uploaded were I.D.'d by at least one scan as Downloader Trojans.

ever since I did this I've been getting access denied when trying to change settings in the policy editor. This applies only to the original topic starter. I got some sketchy ones but I don't wanna delete them ( Might just be how windows names things ) . or read our Welcome Guide to learn how to use this site.
