However, I would note that if you use the environment variable GYP_MSVS_VERSION there is no need for npm install --msvs_version=2015 the regular npm install will work fine. After 0.4 we don't really need to have the libraries linked in, but could switch to explicit loading instead using ffi.load. You may want to wait till Nov 18 for VS2015 Update 1 RTM (TBA in Connect2015 event), which has more C/C++ features and bug fixes. BlackGlory commented Aug 8, 2015 I have same problem in Windows 10 with VS2015&SDK. :-( 👍 4 axefrog commented Aug 14, 2015 If there were a +1 button, I'd be Requirements installation successful. The application will crash on the next DLL function call.
Also, no need to install full blown VS now, just the "Build Tools" which has 2015 compiler, SDKs etc. 👍 1 Unknown referenced this issue Nov 15, 2015 Closed Windows Check This Out I solved this hackily by adding over 9000 exports to the output binary (objdump and regex). its likely time to upgrade your chef-client lamont-granquist closed this Jun 28, 2016 DavidTNguyen commented Aug 2, 2016 Same error with ChefDK v0.16.28. The bundle install command does not install bundle itself, but it tells bundle (after you have installed it) to "install" a series of other Ruby "gems" based on details in the But I have not found a way to update to this version. Running bundler to install the necessary gems If all went well you now have rvm and the version of ruby required by omega and you can run bundle install at that Source Hope this helps somebody.

The only concern with using ffi.load with the patch is not being able to unload modules that are loaded via ffi, but howl never has reason to unload those modules anyway. I use XAMPP and Avira Antivirus on both computers could these be the culprit? Thank you. Lowercase -x changes reserved stack size, not initially-committed stack space.
