During installation, msxml6.dll is only installed into Program Files\Raxco\PerfectDisk\PerfectDisk2008 if PerfectDisk 2008 for Exchange is installed. I don't know if the early msxmls, like msxml1, are just leftovers, leftovers w/ a potential security hole or necessary for backward compatibility. i am wondering also...
Then it rewrote the .dll.

Hi JohnH20.I only have KB936181 and KB954430 uninstalling KB936181 doesnt work for me the dlls are still all there ! I have done a Google search and read a bunch of Micro$oft articles that say they are vulnerable, but really don't have any idea of what they are talking about. Windows update does not offer anything regarding this as far as I can see. This is a pain in the *** mate.
I simply deleted the folder/file. And KIS does not detect any vulnerabilitiy…You shouldn’t have deleted the files, especially not ver 4.20.9870. You still need 3 & 4 for "legacy features".
