If you get a PCI NIC, not another PCI wireless adapter and connected via ethernet again, this will tell you whether the issue is with the NIC or the mobo. Compare settings and services between the laptop and one of the working PCs. Or it might be a strange plug-in that is altering the proxy settings. It is a custom build pc.

I didn't expect this to work b/c the laptop seemed not to be connected to them at all. If your sure theres no problem with other browsers on the same computer then those commands will not help you. obviously, you'll have to keep your laptop powered off (off the network) while you're running this test. I'd start with NetBIOS (shoud be "default" or "enabled"). Often a limited gets checked and you might be getting throttled. I cannot navigate Walmart.com website.
