When I first tested it, there were lots of errors coming up, blue screens of death requiring system reboots and all sorts, so I considered it needed a recovery. Note: This error has also been known to occur when a memory card is in a card reader and the computer is attempting to boot from it. Thanks a lot and I'm taking a look forward to touch you. I always, throughout all this, made sure CD-ROM was top priority in the boot order (or USB when trying that). but suddenly it’s started not getting that far – I now can’t boot from CD-ROM or USB because the NTLDR message comes up too quickly. I am going to assume both 98 and XP are installed on the same FAT32 partition. I agree the RAM issue can be dealt with later.
