They all work on some computers, but not on others, usually by disabling something and thereby changing the boot timing. It keeps copying the explorer.exe file. However, this is not a very good solution because you may want to have these services running. Accessing the Internet and browsing is ok.

As expected, it didn't solve the problem for me, but I have received 2 confirmations that it worked for other users. 2005-02-16 – Lutz-R. My XP accessories, most importantly the system tools, had been pointing to an empty slot instead of the list usually in there. Any other suggestions to this issue? Thanks!
